LAST CALL – Disability Advocacy Day!

Registration for Disability Advocacy Day closes Friday March 9th

Register Online by 5 PM Friday, March 9, 2018. You must register to participate. No walk-ins allowed.

Disability Advocacy Day is designed to connect you with your legislators so you can talk about issues that matter to you. You are the expert in sharing how legislative policies affect people with disabilities in their everyday lives.


Disability Advocacy Day will be March 20th, 2018 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center,
(One John Nolen Drive,  Madison, WI).

 9:30:     Check-in: Monona Terrace, 1 John Nolen Drive, Madison
Pick up materials/T-Shirt (if you don’t have one)

10:30:   Briefing on Survival Coalition’s current issues

11:15:   Planning time with others from your district

11:30:   Pick up your box lunch (if you ordered one).
Outside restaurant food is not permitted in Monona Terrace but you may bring a lunch from home.

12:15:   Rally at the State Capitol, Rotunda (3 blocks away).

             You are responsible for your own transportation to the Capitol if  you need assistance.

1:00- 3:00:  Legislative visits scheduled  

3:00-3:30:  Check out and debrief after your visit at the Capitol

Rooms will be available at the Capitol in the afternoon for use between visits and to debrief before leaving.
