Long Term Care
Disability Rights Wisconsin (DRW) works to ensure that people with disabilities receive all the services they need in the most integrated setting.
DRW helps people get the funding and services that allow them to choose where they want to live. Without these services many of these people would be forced into institutions. Long term care funding has been used to help people move out of institutions into the community and to live in their own homes with adequate supportive services.
DRW provides information, referral, advice, investigation, direct advocacy, and, in select cases, legal representation to residents of institutions and individuals with disabilities in the community to help them get the funding, supports and services they need to live in the environment of their choice.
