Cathy provides individual advocacy assistance to clients in a variety of residential and community-based service settings, specializing in Special Education, Assistive Technology, Employment, and Vocational Rehabilitation.
For the last 20 years most of Cathy’s work has been related to employment that is not segregated and that pays a livable wage to people with disabilities. Nobody should have to spend their life in poverty and that is what dependence on Social Security results in. Instead of having low expectations for people with disabilities, Cathy sees people who have dreams of full employment and want nothing more than to be treated like everyone else. That is what Cathy supports in her work at Disability Rights Wisconsin.
