Long-Term Care

female doctor listening to older male's heartPeople with disabilities deserve to receive all the services they need in the most integrated setting where they want to live. Without these services, many people would be forced into institutions. Long-term care funding has been used to help people move out of institutions and into the community so that they may live in their own homes with adequate supportive services.

Disability Rights Wisconsin provides information, referral, advice, investigation, direct advocacy, and, in select cases, legal representation to residents of institutions and individuals with disabilities in the community to help them get the funding, supports, and services they need to live in the environment of their choice.
